Nourish Our Kids - Services

Since 2003, NOK’ experience has shown that nutrition education can foster positive behavioral changes for children and their families. NOK has developed and deployed nutrition, health and wellness workshops and programs in non-profit children organizations that engage and educate children and their parents to foster long-term lifestyle changes.

	Steinway Children and Family Services A teacher training program was developed and conducted by NOK. The purpose of the program was to provide nutrition, health and wellness education to the parent counselors employed by Steinway Children and Family Services. A parent lecture also was provided
I Have a Dream Foundation NOK created and implemented two 10-week after school nutrition and wellness programs for children ages 7 – 12. Curriculum included hands-on cooking, nutrition, yoga and meditation classes A parent lecture also was provided.
